Summary:
In this text, Jinxin Dai first points out the passive learning situation of many Chinese student when learning English. And then Jinxin Dai lists ways to involve the students into practicing English instead of only focusing on exams. Those ways include video game, book-related play, blog and so on. InJinxin Dai ’s own conclusion of her text, she points out that “When the environment of play is a priority, students have increased opportunities to practice what they have learned, and they get to participate in social learning activities. Book-related pretend play allows students to use language to articulate deep comprehension of the assigned content. Increased use of technology helps students develop their comprehensive, communicative, and analyzing abilities during learning.” Our summaries of the text are almost same with each other.
